They just don’t make ‘em like they used to! That’s true of most things these days, and particularly so with Ovens, Hobs & Microwaves. If yours is a few years old, chances are that it’s of a far better quality than those available today, and should have a life expectancy of 15 to 20 years! Buy a cheapy today and watch it start to rust in about 12 to 18 months! It’s no joke…We scrap them all the time!

If your Microwave has a Stainless Steel Oven Lining for example, then it’s definitely worth hanging on to…they’re few and far between these days. Most Microwaves produced today have an ordinary steel interior which is spray painted…looks nice for a while…then watch it peel off and start to rust!

So if it’s a well known brand Name it’s built to last. If, on the other hand, it’s a name you’ve never heard of, it may last a couple or years or so.

The cost of a repair is often less than you might think! Forget the £70 call-out and time on site costs charged by the big boys…We have a Fixed Labour Charge, regardless of how long the job takes AND there is No Extra Charge if we have to take your appliance to the Workshop and return it to you later.

We guarantee our work for 6 months, and only use quality replacement parts.

We carry a large stock of  replacement parts, which enables us to complete 95% of repairs on site straight away, usually within 1 hour of arrival.

Microwave Radiation can be harmful, therefore our labour charge includes a Full Service and Radiation Leakage Test, to ensure the safe operation of your Microwave. All Microwave Ovens leak in time due to the gradual wear of the door catches and hinges. Deterioration of the door seals (even without use) is also a factor. In view of this, we operate a reminder service to tell you when a retest is due.
